Lake(any bodies of water)- house drainage?

professional only pls..how can you manage to put a drainage in a lake house (or any house near the bodies of water) without affecting the lake itself? for instance you build a house adjacent to the lake( sloped toward the lake)? where should you put it? is it possible to have a cistern or you just use to the lake water for any water supply??need answer asap.
