What constitutes on the job harment?
I am a clinical social worker who works in a setting where I do not get reimbursed for much of what I do but if not done properly am sancttioned and sent disciplinary memos, After a death in my family my supervisor became increasingly critical of my paperwork(unpaid) and kept tallying up every mistake I made. A client showed up at the wrong time for an appointment and I was blamed for being disorganized, given a written warning about being more careful with my schedule, and a note was put in the client chart that the client had been offered an apology for my error and I was subject to investigation by human rights and it turned out I was innocent. I was reprimanded for going home with the flu one day because it meant canceling a patient. I was reprimanded for a time when I called in sick after I lost my father because clients did not appreciate that. Any answers?
