Can your waters break a little bit and then stop?

im 28 weeks, i started leaking, its not urine, i know people who started leaking about this time and because they only lost a little bit of heir waters they didnt haveto go hospital they just had o make sure no more come out, so is it possible for a little bit of your waters to beak and then stoip and reseal itself please help? i have text my midwife but she hasnt got bk to me x
