Where can I buy modern dinnerware?

I love "funky"---Pier 1 is always a good start...If they have Cost Plus Imports where you live, go there first...really funky and not much $. Also, I have had great luck in fun shaped and colored plates at Asian-type markets...larger Japanese and Chinese based supermarkets. Don't overlook your local Dollar Store--i found these great bright red square plates at mine. Good luck--hunting is half the fun:-)
